Carved from ancient walrus ivory dug from the Alaskan permafrost. Colors are tan, cream, brown (back and front; only the front is pictured. The picture doesn't do it justice). The colors result from minerals in the soil leaching into the ivory for thousands of years. About 2.5" high and 1.25" wide. A master carver created this masterpiece. A beautiful piece of jewelry.
